2020 Board Batch

I am honoured to have been a student of this prestigious institution, Adamas World School. It gave me opportunities to grow, both intellectually and emotionally. The time spent in classes with my teachers in learning and discussing things are some of the most memorable experiences of my life. The excellent academics and infrastructure, with rigorous emphasis on discipline and values made us not merely educated, but wise. I shall remain thankful to the honourable Principal and teachers for their contribution to my overall development. No matter where I go, the teachings of my mentors will continue to guide and inspire me. I am currently a student of MBBS at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.

ANKANA DEY

CLASS X 2020 BOARD BATCH

STUDYING IN THE PRESTIGIOUS MIRANDA HOUSE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI

I’m Ankana Dey, a former student of Adamas World School. I consider myself lucky to be a student of the school from the very first year it opened. I have studied in Adamas almost my entire school life from the second to the tenth standard. The bonds I have formed in my journey here as a student, may it be with my friends, juniors or the teachers, have undoubtedly shaped me today to become the person I am. The active interest that my teachers took in not only my academics, but especially my co-curricular activities is something that has motivated me to indulge in all my passions, be it writing, art, debating, singing athletics, etc.

I gave my Cuet entrance test in 2022 and I’m currently studying in the prestigious Miranda House, University of Delhi. I’m pursuing B.A (Honours) Sociology here. Even though it took a lot of sleepless nights, and tiresome weeks to get here, but now that I’m here in my dream college majoring in a subject I have always loved, it all feels worth it. Studying in a feminist institution like Miranda and the all women environment has been such a safe, empowering and uplifting space for me to grow as a woman and have a voice. Even when I’m in Delhi so far from home, I cannot help but thank the amazing women in Adamas who had always supported me whenever I had doubted myself. I think that the little girl in the blue uniform would today be proud to see how far she has managed to come.
